 Course Overview

The two-year General Studies Associate of Science Degree is a multidisciplinary program using a critical thinking, problem-solving and communication systems approach to develop skills and abilities necessary to succeed in higher education and in the job market with emphasis in Math and Science. The curriculum is based on core and support courses used to develop competence in Communications, Social Interaction, Aesthetics, Analysis, Problem-Solving, Valuing, Individual/Environment and Contemporary World. The General Studies Associate of Arts Degree Program is designed especially for the students who want to increase analytical and critical thinking skills or who simply want to expand an overall base of knowledge in Math and Science.
