ESOL classes benefit all students who do not have fluency or confidence in English.

Reading and Writing Strand:

  1. High Beginning Reading and Writing - ESOL 0315
  2. Low Intermediate Reading and Writing - ESOL 0316
  3. High Intermediate Reading and Writing - ESOL 0317
  4. Advanced Reading (TSI) - ESOL 0340

Listening and Speaking Strand:

  1. High Beginning Listening and Speaking - ESOL 0325
  2. Intermediate Listening and Speaking - ESOL 0326
  3. Advanced Listening and Speaking - ESOL 0327
  4. Advanced Writing (TSI) - ESOL 0341

Grammar Strand:

  1. Grammar I - ESOL 0335
  2. Grammar II - ESOL 0336

ESOL students who complete ESOL 0340 and ESOL 0341 may enroll in credit courses leading to a certificate or Associates Degree.

Students are required to take the ACCUPLACER ESL for placement.
