If you have a GPA of 3.25 or better or this is your first semester at EPCC, then please click on the link below to apply electronically to the Honors Program.

  • Honors Program Application

  • After being accepted in the Honors Program, students will work with Honors faculty to develop an Honors Project for their course and to complete the Student/Faculty Contract
  • Student/Faculty Contract (DOCX)

  • Once the honors project is completed and the final grade is known for the course, Faculty should email the Honors Program at "honorsprogram@epcc.edu" with the following information so that Honors Credit may be recorded on the student's transcript for the course:
    • Student name
    • ID number
    • Course
    • Final Grade
    • Confirmation of Honors Project Completion

The Honors Program provides opportunity and encouragement to academically motivated students.


  • Design projects with your instructors
  • Receive a certificate or awards at the yearly Honors Program Convocation
  • Honors students who earn 15 or more honors credit in three different subject areas will have the designation "WITH COLLEGE HONORS" placed on their transcript and diploma
  • Transfer honors credit to UTEP
  • Open doors to advanced study and scholarships
  • Participate in special Honors Program activities
  • Honors credits will be used as a tie breaker in the ranking process for students competing for a seat in a EPCC Allied Health Program(s) of their choice
  • Improve your resume
