In addition to the specific benefits that accrue to the College and community by the programs and projects supported by grant funds, awards to the College have the general benefit of increased employment (wages and salaries); acquisition of educational equipment; travel by faculty and staff to conferences and workshops; and direct financial support to students in the form of stipends and scholarships.
