 Safety

All College departments and disciplines will follow Safety Program procedures as outlined in College Procedure 5.01.05.34.


The Office of Risk Management and Safety (ORMS) investigates and documents safety complaints, incidents, or violations and, if justified, makes recommendations to correct any hazards discovered.


ORMS is responsible for the first-aid supply distribution district-wide. Online first-aid supply request forms are available on the College website. Item amounts will be adjusted to accommodate the requesting department’s actual needs.


Hazardous chemical and medical waste disposal is managed by the Physical Plant Department. Incidents involving chemical, biological, medical, or other hazardous materials should be reported to the EPCC Police Department and ORMS.
