  • President's Welcome
    Meet Dr. Richard M. Rhodes who served as Interim President from 1990 to 1992 and returned in December 2001 to become the 13th President of El Paso County Community College District.

    As elected representatives of this community, the seven-member board of trustees serve six-year terms and represent the various El Paso area districts to meet the needs of the taxpayers and the students.

  • Achieving the Dream
    Achieving the Dream is a multiyear national initiative to help more community college students succeed. The initiative is particularly concerned about student groups that traditionally have faced significant barriers to success, including students of color and low-income students.

    The six-member Cabinet Officers serve the President and the District with Divisions responsible for leadership and coordination of all College initiatives through their respective areas.

    Five strategically placed campus locations and various off campus sites are available and accessible to all areas of the El Paso community.

    Designed to meet the needs of the community, concerned citizens researched the possibilities and took on the role of “building a community college” in the 1970’s. The dream was realized when the doors opened on September 20, 1971.

  • EPCC Foundation
    There is no better investment for your charitable donation than education. In 1966, EPCC began planning for the establishment of a non-profit Foundation to create greater financial security for the students of tomorrow. Today, the Foundation continues to seek endowment funds through the community for student scholarships.

  • Fact Books
    The Division of Research and Development continuously compiles basic statistics for the District. This information is used for planning purposes, policy decisions and comparisons. It also serves as a source of information about the College for publishers, surveys, and the general public.

  • Institutional Effectiveness
    The mission of the Institutional Effectiveness Office is to create, develop & integrate processes that promote the continuous improvement of College programs & services.

    We revisit our mission statement, strategic goals and core values on a regular basis to be absolutely certain that we are providing the best possible education and training for our students.

  • Policies and Procedures
    The objectives of the Board Policies and College procedures are to establish clear lines of policy and responsibility for the Board of Trustees, the President and the District’s employees.

  • Research & Development
    Research and Development is the data gathering, report creation, and process development division of the College. This Division provides data and reports to internal and external requestors such as federal, state, and community entities regarding the daily operation of the college.
